Wyoming AI laws: what's in force, and what's coming
Wyoming's only AI-specific statute is 2026's HB 102, which creates crimes for AI-generated sexual material involving children and for using AI to promote self-harm or censor political speech, says AI use is no defense to a crime, and gives AI developers specified immunity. Earlier bills on election synthetic media (2024) and government AI social scoring (2026) died.
