What NIST AI RMF · MEASURE requires

Organizations adopting the AI RMF; MEASURE is done by TEVV, engineering and risk teams for each AI system, before and after deployment.

  1. 01Select metrics for the most significant mapped risks and regularly reassess metric appropriateness (MEASURE 1.1, 1.2).
  2. 02Document test sets, metrics and TEVV tools; measure performance under conditions similar to deployment (MEASURE 2.1, 2.3).
  3. 03Monitor functionality and behavior of the AI system in production (MEASURE 2.4).
  4. 04Demonstrate validity and reliability, document generalizability limits, and evaluate safety, security, explainability, privacy and fairness (MEASURE 2.5–2.11).
  5. 05Evaluate and document effectiveness of the TEVV metrics and processes (MEASURE 2.13).
  6. 06Track existing and emergent risks over time and gather feedback on measurement efficacy (MEASURE 3, 4).

Records to keep

  1. 01TEVV plan with documented test sets, metrics and tools
  2. 02Evaluation reports under deployment-like conditions
  3. 03Production monitoring dashboards or logs with drift and incident records
  4. 04Review of measurement effectiveness and metric updates

Optional evidence · where Planisphere fits

Keep a record anyone can check

When your team meets a duty, Planisphere can seal the event it reports as a receipt.

01 · Your teamRecord the event

A disclosure shown, a review signed, a model change approved: the event your system reports.

02 · PlanisphereSeal it

The event becomes a sealed receipt, dated and attributed to whoever is signed in.

03 · AnyoneCheck it

Paste the receipt into Verify. No account or key.

A record supports your compliance evidence process. It is not a legal finding or a certification. Systems that call Planisphere's gate API can also hold or refuse an action before it runs.
