New York has enacted the RAISE Act, a frontier-model safety and incident-reporting law for large AI developers that takes effect January 1, 2027, alongside in-force laws on AI companion safeguards, state-agency automated decision-making, synthetic performers in ads and deceptive election media. In June 2026 the legislature also passed bills on chatbot features for minors, personalised algorithmic pricing, training-data transparency and AI workforce reporting, which awaited the governor's action as of October 2026.

A record supports your compliance evidence process. It is not a legal finding or a certification. Systems that call Planisphere's gate API can also hold or refuse an action before it runs.
