Mississippi AI laws: what's in force, and what's coming
Mississippi's AI-specific laws criminalize deceptive election deepfakes (2024), add AI-altered ('morphed') images of minors to child exploitation law (2024), create an AI Regulation Task Force (2025) and define 'artificial intelligence' in statute (2026). 2026 bills on name, likeness and voice rights and on AI disclosure in political ads died, so there is still no broad AI regulation.
