Louisiana AI laws: what's in force, and what's coming
Louisiana has no comprehensive AI statute; its AI-specific laws criminalize sexual deepfakes of minors and AI-generated images of others (2023, expanded 2026), require AI disclosures on deceptive candidate depictions in election communications (2026), and make attorneys exercise diligence on possibly AI-manipulated evidence (2025). Earlier election deepfake bills were vetoed in 2024, and a 2026 critical-infrastructure AI risk bill (SB 474) did not pass.

Optional evidence · where Planisphere fits
Keep a record anyone can check
When your team meets a duty, Planisphere can seal the event it reports as a receipt.
A disclosure shown, a review signed, a model change approved: the event your system reports.
The event becomes a sealed receipt, dated and attributed to whoever is signed in.
Paste the receipt into Verify. No account or key.
A record supports your compliance evidence process. It is not a legal finding or a certification. Systems that call Planisphere's gate API can also hold or refuse an action before it runs.
