Kentucky for tutor and grader workflows
Kentucky in tutor and grader workflows: what compliance requires, who asks for evidence, and the records to keep.
01 / State law
Kentucky's AI laws
| Law | Status | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| State government AI governance and election synthetic media | In force | Requires COT AI policy standards, an AI Governance Committee, public disclosure of agency AI use in certain cases and annual reports; creates a candidate cause of action for synthetic media in electioneering communications, with a disclosure defense. |
| Computer-generated child sexual abuse material | In force | Defines computer-generated images of minors for child sexual exploitation crimes; prosecutors need not prove the depicted minor's identity, age or existence. |

In a tutor and grader workflow
Kentucky's main AI law, SB 4 (2025), sets governance rules for state agencies' AI use through the Commonwealth Office of Technology and an AI Governance Committee, and creates a civil cause of action over synthetic media in election communications. It has no comprehensive private-sector AI statute; 2026 bills on AI therapy chatbots did not pass.

Optional evidence · where Planisphere fits
Keep a record anyone can check
When your team meets a duty, Planisphere can seal the event it reports as a receipt.
A disclosure shown, a review signed, a model change approved: the event your system reports.
The event becomes a sealed receipt, dated and attributed to whoever is signed in.
Paste the receipt into Verify. No account or key.
A record supports your compliance evidence process. It is not a legal finding or a certification. Systems that call Planisphere's gate API can also hold or refuse an action before it runs.
