Alaska for defense AI workflows
Alaska in defense AI workflows: what compliance requires, who asks for evidence, and the records to keep.
01 / State law
Alaska's AI laws
| Law | Status | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| AI-generated child sexual abuse material | Failed | Would have covered generated images in child sexual abuse material offenses; passed the House February 27, 2026 but was still in Senate Judiciary when the session ended. |
| AI, deepfakes, cybersecurity and state data transfers | Failed | Would have regulated state agency AI use and election deepfakes; it did not leave Senate State Affairs. |
| Synthetic media in elections | Failed | Would have set liability for undisclosed synthetic media in election communications; it did not leave Senate State Affairs. |

In a defense AI workflow
Alaska has not enacted an AI-specific statute; bills on deepfakes, synthetic media in elections and AI-generated child sexual abuse material did not pass the 34th Legislature (2025-2026). The main AI-specific guidance is the Alaska Bar Association's 2025 ethics opinion on generative AI.

Optional evidence · where Planisphere fits
Keep a record anyone can check
When your team meets a duty, Planisphere can seal the event it reports as a receipt.
A disclosure shown, a review signed, a model change approved: the event your system reports.
The event becomes a sealed receipt, dated and attributed to whoever is signed in.
Paste the receipt into Verify. No account or key.
A record supports your compliance evidence process. It is not a legal finding or a certification. Systems that call Planisphere's gate API can also hold or refuse an action before it runs.
